Fixed prosthetics: A comfortable and aesthetic solution

Fixed dental prosthetics replace teeth permanently and cannot be removed by the patient. They are firmly attached to teeth or implants.

3 types of fixed prosthetics on natural teeth or implants

Dental crowns:        Cover a damaged tooth to protect it and restore its shape.

Dental briges:      Replace one or more teeth using neighbouring teeth or implants.

Implant-supported prosthetics:               Fixed to implants inserted into the jawbone, they replace one or more teeth.
These prosthetics offer durability, comfort and natural aesthetics..

Removable prosthetics: an economical and adaptive solution

Removable prosthetics are an economical and adaptive solution for replacing missing teeth. They can be easily removed and replaced by the patient.

There are several types:

  1. Partial: Replaces a few teeth, supported by the remaining natural teeth.
  2. Complete (dentures) : Replaces all the teeth in an arch.

Benefits:

  • Lower cost than fixed prosthetics.
  • Easy to adjust or replace.
  • Suitable for different budgets and situations.

Implants: A true added value

The retention and comfort of removable prosthetics can be significantly improved by the use of one or more implants. These implants are anchored by a press stud or retention bar system to ‘clip’ the prosthetics on top.

Removable prosthetics must be regularly checked and readjusted to adapt them to the oral cavity.
